November, 2005 Book Review
Web Review

A warm welcome to all of our new subscribers!

November is the month of our national Thanksgiving holiday. Our November newsletter will help you gaze with more appreciative eyes upon the older congregation you love.

Workshops, training events, and seminars are valuable. We have participated in many of them, and led a few as well. But church leaders can become so focused on what's "out there" that they fail to make full use of rich resources for transformation under their very noses - or, uh, steeples. Robert Lewis and Wayne Cordeiro's book, Culture Shift, reviewed this month, offers some insights that should make every renewal leader thankful.

The websites reviewed this month make wonderful use of color, faces, and personal testimonies to proclaim and celebrate the difference Jesus makes in the lives of those who earnestly seek him. May your heart be filled with joy as you pray and work for renewal in an older congregation, "always and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father." (Ephesians 5:20)
