	Church Over 40 was founded by Rev. Fredrick B. Oaks of Delafield, Wisconsin. Since 1981 Fred has pursued excellence in congregational ministry. He's served as pastor of three healthy, growing congregations. One church was in a rural setting, another was in a central city, and the third was suburban. All of them were well over 40 years old. Fred began consulting with congregations in 1996. He’s learned that every transition is unique. However, principles for leading renewal in long-established churches apply in all settings. Fred shares these principles through the Church Over 40 e-newsletter and leadership development workshops and services. Fred has also written for Leadership Journal, Congregations Magazine, and Upper Room Disciplines. His book Welcome, Pastor!
